The Relate Code

The Relate Code

The Relate Code is based upon our mission, our vision and our 7 core values.

Our Mission:  We exist to RELATE to God, to one another, and to the world.

BELONG.  BELIEVE.  BECOME.

Our Vision:  To REACH those who are far from Christ, so that they may be filled with His life and love.

Our 7 core values for Relate:

  1. Christ-centered:  Jesus is not only at the center of our lives but also in everything we do in ministry.
  2. Culturally relevant:  We have an unchanging message that has to be communicated in ways that our culture can understand.  The message doesn’t change but the methods have to constantly change so that the culture can clearly understand our message.
  3. Bible based:  The Bible is the sole authority in all matters of faith and living.
  4. Community:  We were created for community and we are called to create an authentic community that will make an indelible impact upon the lives of those inside our sphere of influence.
  5. Creativity/Excellence:  We are created to create!  Church should be the most innovative people on planet earth!  We strive to do everything with excellence-doing the absolute best with the gifts, talents, and abilities that God has entrusted us with.
  6. In-Reach:  We are called to make disciples.  We will strive to develop the God-given potential of each person at Relate.
  7. Out-Reach:  We are called to GO- Go and make disciples of all nations.  We can’t simply sit back and expect them to come to us.  We are called to BE the Church in our community by reaching outside the walls of the church.

The Relate Code:

  • We thrive on relationships:  We are a relational group.  We promote community and living life together and we stand against that which destroys unity in the Body of Christ.  We exist to RELATE to God (Believe), to one another (Belong), and to the world (Become).
  • We unite under one vision-We believe that God gives our Lead Pastor vision, and that vision flows down throughout the entire church—from leadership on down to the first time visitor.  Shared vision produces change in our culture; multiple visions produces division.  Therefore, we stand united under the one vision of the Church:  To REACH those who are far from Christ so that they can be filled with His life and love.
  • We excel in honor-We are a generation of honor.  We believe that we should celebrate each other, not tolerate each other.  Honor elevates and dishonor discharges.  We believe in honoring God, our country, and one another!
  • We celebrate creativity-We are united under one vision and within this vision, we are called to strive to be one of the most creative churches in our city (Hendersonville).  Creativity at Relate is defined as “doing everything we do with excellence in such a way that people will want to talk about it at work on Monday.”  Creativity is presenting the unchanging message in the freshest way possible!  Creativity is attempting things that others wouldn’t even think of!
  • We cheer innovation-We are called not just to mimic culture, but to create it!  Relate Church is a place where we create:  We are called to create new music; we are called to create inspiring and life-changing messages; we are called to create attractive community; we are called to create a church that people want to be part of.  We are innovators at Relate Church!
  • We promote holistic growth-Jesus grew in all areas of life while here on earth-physically, spiritually, socially, and intellectually (Luke 2:52).  At Relate, we seek to effectively minister to the whole person:  Spiritually-we want to lead you to a growing faith in Jesus Christ; Physically-your body is the temple and we will encourage you to take care of it; Socially-we are called Relate after all!  We will help you develop the relational skills to be able to connect with anyone that God puts in your path; Intellectual-God wants you to love Him with your mind.  Coming to church doesn’t mean that you lay your intellect at the door.  We believe that the truth will set you free!
  • We multiply as we mentor-So many churches have forgotten that we are called to pour our lives into others.  Paul commanded Timothy to mentor others who will be able to mentor others (2 Timothy 2:2).  That’s 4 generations of discipleship just in that one verse!  Apprenticeship is the art of multiplying yourself by training someone else to do your role in the church.  Who are you apprenticing?
  • We impact as we give extravagantly-At Relate, we want to lead the way in giving.  God wants us to give cheerfully, sacrificially, and strategically.  We will give back to our community.  We will give to support missions-locally and globally.  We will partner with other like-minded churches.  We give expectantly to help expand God’s kingdom on earth!
  • We expand the Kingdom as we partner together-We are better together.  Relate is just one expression of what God is doing all around the world.  Our heart is in the Kingdom-we want to multiply our efforts by joining to help different networks, organizations, and churches to help accomplish more together than we could alone.  This is the principle of spiritual synergy—our efforts multiply when we work together instead of alone.

Relate Vision 2012: 7 “We BELIEVE” Statements

God

Relate Vision 2012

7 “We BELIEVE” Vision Statements

  • We BELIEVE that Relate is to be a place where people can BELONG.  We share the same mission as Jesus Christ- “To seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10).  We declare that Relate is to be a lighthouse that shines the light and love of Christ to those who are broken, wounded, lost, irreligious, confused, helpless, and hopeless.
  • We BELIEVE that the people at Relate are to share the hope of salvation found in the Gospel to thousands of people who live in the Western North Carolina area and beyond.  We will share the Gospel by how we love each other, through our daily lifestyles, and through actively sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.
  • We BELIEVE that Relate is called to transform seekers into saints, consumers into contributors, members into ministers, and an audience into an army.
  • We BELIEVE that we have the potential and opportunity to impact and reach 500 people in 5 years.  We will do these by surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ and letting His light shine brightly through our lives.  By the start of 2017, we hope to have impacted 500 people through the members and ministries of Relate Church.
  • We BELIEVE that Relate will grow and expand to areas beyond Hendersonville, North Carolina.  We hope to do this through starting new church plants and through creating satellite campuses in other cities outside of Hendersonville.  We can only do this if you freely give of yourselves to the work of the ministry-your time, your gifts and abilities, and your resources.
  • We BELIEVE that Relate will be a catalyst of creativity-we desire to create culture, not just mimic it.  We desire to do everything we do with excellence and innovation.  We are created in the image of God to create—and we want to make God smile through the way we do ministry and through the way we live our lives.
  • We BELIEVE that Relate will be a center for worship and a house of prayer.  We desire to be a place that cherishes prayer-both private and as a church family.  We believe that prayer changes things starting with us!  We also desire to be innovators of creating inspired worship songs.  We desire to create worship music that will inspire worship for a whole generation of Christians.

We are Relate Church and we BELIEVE that these things are possible!  Why do we believe these things?  Because God tells us that “all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23) and that God is able “to do immeasurably more than anything we can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20).

Bringing Honor Back

God

“Love each other with brotherly affection and take delight in honoring each other.” (Romans 12:10, TLB)

First of all, I want to thank Pastor Ed and Lisa Young for inspiring thousands at the C3 global conference in Dallas about bringing honor back!  You both were the inspiration for this writing.  The Fellowship Church pastor urged church and ministry leaders to “smell out” dishonor among their members and colleagues and drill into it with inquisition, saying they should “make them fish or cut bait.” “People who are honorable will go to another dimension. Those who aren’t will go somewhere else,” he said.

The Postmodern culture we live in has a tendency to dishonor honor and to honor dishonor. From the workplace to the home to the church…our culture has drifted away from the concept of honor.

Scripture is filled with the command to honor one another.  Notice that I said “command” not option.  We are called to honor God (I Samuel 2:30, I Corinthians 6:20), our parents (Exodus 20:12, Ephesians 6:2), the government (Romans 13:7; I Peter 2:17), spiritual leaders (Hebrews 13:17, I Timothy 5:17-18), and one another (Romans 12:10, I Corinthians 12:21-26).

The Postmodern culture teaches that honor has to be earned not given, BUT this belief is contrary to the Scripture. (This is a lie straight from the pit of hell…and many Christians believe it!) The Bible teaches that we are to honor those that God has placed in authority over us, not because they have earned or deserve honor.

The story of David and King Saul is a great example of this.  David honored Saul even when Saul was trying to kill him!  There was nothing that Saul did to deserve David’s honor, but David did it anyways.  Why you ask?  Because David knew that honor elevates and dishonor demotes.  Because David trusted in the Lord…he did not dishonor God’s anointed king (I Samuel 16:11).

The church culture has unfortunately gone with the Postmodern lie that we are to only honor those that we feel deserve honor.  The true test of character is that you are willing to honor someone who doesn’t deserve honor. Somebody honor somebody!

It’s time for the church to rise up and bring honor back. Bring honor back to the church.  Bring honor back to the home.  Bring honor back to the work place.

Honor elevates.  Dishonor demotes. Time to bring honor back!  Somebody tell somebody!

Christmas Colors & Glow Sticks!

I am so excited about our first Eve of Christmas Eve service tonight at Relate.  We are going to be doing some outside the box things tonight…  One element in our worship service involves the use of different colored glow sticks.

My wife Lori and I are doing our first tag team message called:  The Colors of Christmas…after the message, everyone at Relate will be breaking their glow stick to see which color of Christmas emerges.  Here’s the outline for our message…hope this encourages you as we anticipate Christmas this week:

The Colors of Christmas:

Blue-Blue represents tranquility…calm…peace.

  • Isaiah 7:14– Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
    • Isaiah 9:6-7– 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end….

Green-Green represents life: growth, change, personal development.

  • John 3:16- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  • I John 5:11-12– 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Red-Red represents forgiveness:  Red in Christmas represents the blood of Jesus Christ.

  • Matthew 1:18-25–  18 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

  • Luke 2:1-14-  1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to his own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

White- White Represents Purity…This Christmas you have a fresh new start!

  • Isaiah 7:14– “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)– This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person (or a new creation). The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

How does a person start a brand new start?

Through receiving the Christmas gift of forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

  • Romans 10:9-10, 13– 9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved…  13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

The other bright colors (silver, pink, orange, yellow, etc.)-These colors represent the Fun and Fulfillment that Christmas can bring!

  • John 10:10- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
  • I Timothy 6:7 tells us to put our “hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”

Conclusion-Break your glow sticks and remember the colors of Christmas!  Which color shines most brightly to you?

  • Blue-Do you need peace this Christmas?
  • Green-Do you need more fulfillment in your life?
  • Red-Is there someone in your life that you need to forgive?
  • White-Do you need a new start to your life?  Do you need to accept Jesus today?

From my family to yours…

Merry Colorful Christmas!

2011 New Year’s Goals

God

2011 New Year’s Goals

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.
If they watch every cloud, they never harvest
. (Ecclesiastes 11:4).

So many people have great intentions, hopes, and dreams but never accomplish these high aspirations.  I have lost count how many times I have heard people say:  I will do that when… . I will start that business when I have enough good potential employees.  I will start that ministry when… I have the right resources and equipment.  I will get married when…

We live in a land that is made up of the soil of good intentions.  Solomon gave good practice advice that we should take to heart:  If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done (Ecclesiastes 11:4).  Are you looking for the PERFECT business opportunity?  It most likely will never come.  Do you want to find the PERFECT soul mate?  Are you hoping to finally land the PERFECT ministry opportunity?  In a fallen world, there are no such “perfects” out there.  Only God can claim this title.

Since we live in a fallen world, why are you still making excuses that the conditions are not right…are not perfect.  Yes, God does have a perfect timing, but delaying his will is not a virtue, but it is actually a vice.  I want to ask you the same question that God asked Moses:  So what do you have in your hand (Exodus 4:2)?  Moses simply had a rod, and God used that rod to accomplish great miracles and He delivered several millions of people from the hand of their enemies.  Go use the God-given resources to make a difference where you are now.  The only thing perfect thing in your life is God and his will for your life.  So get out there attempt something great for God this New Year in 2011.

Make 2011 count for Christ…  What new adventures does God want you to embark on this year?  And remember…no more lame excuses!  Send me your New Year’s Goals to relatechurch@gmail.com!  Let’s make it count this year in 2011!

White Christmas

Uncle Larry and Aunt Regan are on their way over to your cozy home. You have just decorated your home in a fresh and creative manner for this special occasion. Soon, your good buddy Leon and his new girlfriend Gina will arrive as well. You can smell fresh chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven and the aroma of fresh pine and warm cinnamon overtake the air. You can hardly wait because you will soon share your favorite feast of the year with those special family and friends that you hold dear.

What time of year is it? It is Christmas time! Now that you have gained an extra 3 and a half pounds from Thanksgiving, it is now time to eat again! “So what’s going to be different about Christmas this year?” you ask yourself again.

This Christmas is going to be a White Christmas. “But I live in Miami Florida, and it will never snow down here…” or “Well, I live in the mountains of Oregon and it might snow, but it hasn’t snowed on Christmas day in several years….”

No, no, I’m not talking about that kind of “White Christmas.” I am talking about a Christmas where you can have a fresh, new start with every area of your life. Christmas is the time of year when you are reminded that you too can have a new start….

The Truth is that Jesus came for you almost two thousand years ago. He came so that you could be accepted into his family and have a brand new start with your life. The Prophet Isaiah says it like this: “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

This fresh new start can be possible through accepting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. If you will simply invite Jesus into your life and ask him to forgive you of your sins and turn your life over to him…you will experience the gift of salvation…and will have a fresh, new start! The Bible says that God will make you into a new creation-the old life has gone…and your new life is here (2 Corinthians 5:17).

This Christmas you get to have a brand new start in every area of your life! God wants you to feel new again…fresh, white, alive, and radiant! This Christmas can truly be a White Christmas!

So what do you say? Do you want to have a White Christmas?

Leadership Principles, Part I

Leadership Training-The following is a summary of a recent leadership meeting for the leaders at Relate Church.  I hope that you can use some of these principles in your area of influence and leadership.  These principes were taken from Exodus 18 where Moses’ father-in-law (Jethro) gave him so great advice about leadership.  Here’s the summary of our leadership meeting:

Purpose-To train, develop, and equip the leaders of Relate Church to prepare them to impact an entire city.

Lesson-Relate Leadership Lesson 1- “You can change the world.”

Passage:  Exodus 18:1-27 (Jethro’s Leadership Advice to Moses)

Principles:

  1. A large vision requires many leaders.
  2. Delegation is the secret for exponential growth.
  3. All leaders need time to recharge.
  4. You can’t do leadership alone.
  5. Leaders should exhibit  godly character (see I Timothy 3:1-13 & Titus 1:5-9)
  6. Leaders can’t have a messiah complex.
  7. Leadership has many different levels.  You should strive to work in your area of gifting.
  8. Less is more.  Don’t do too many things.  This principle will keep you from burnout.
  9. Leadership focuses on the big picture…not just making it through the day.
  10. Leaders take advice from trusted counselors.
  11. Leaders need accountability and direction.
  12. Leadership is the art of rising up others and helping them to operate in their God-given potential.

Conclusion-Relate Church needs you to rise up as a leader.  God has called you and He will equip you for the task of reaching a city for Christ.  Don’t forget that God doesn’t necessarily call the qualified; but He qualifies the called.

Hope

“HOPE”

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).

What is the one thing that our culture needs more than anything else?  No, not more money-because money hasn’t solved our problems-because prosperity has the tendency to make us forget God.  It’s not a better health care system, because even if we live longer…we can’t necessarily get more satisfying life out of long life.

In today’s culture, with so many people feeling the crunch of the economic failures….with marriages crumbling…and with so many people who have lost their way…we need a good dose of HOPE.  The Bible tells us that hope comes from being in a thriving relationship with God.  God is the greatest need in our lives.  God desires you to ABOUND in hope through the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Don’t get just enough hope to get by…don’t be satisfied with merely surviving the day…

Choose to abound in hope by choosing to walk with God in your day today.

The True Hope Campaign…

POWERFUL

God

POWERFUL-The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is often the most neglected Person in the Trinity.  Many in the modern Christian community simply do not understand who exactly the Holy Spirit is.  Some see the Holy Spirit as that mysterious force that causes things to happen-strange, mysterious events that are beyond scientific explanation.  Many would call this the Holy Spirit of miracles.  Still others see the Holy Spirit simply as the Agent of God to accomplish his work here on earth.  In this context, the Holy Spirit is viewed more as a powerful force instead of a Personal Being.

In this devotional entry, I want to briefly answer two questions that many people have about the Holy Spirit:  1) WHO is the Holy Spirit? (Theological)  and 2) WHAT impact does He have in my life now? (Practical)

Who is the Holy Spirit?

First, the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is the 3rd Person of the Trinity.  He is sent out both by the Father and by the Son do accomplish God’s work on earth.  The mystery of the Holy Spirit in the Believer’s life is that when a believer invites God into his or her life, God moves into the believer’s life!  That is—God lives inside you!  This is through the Person of the Holy Spirit.  John refers to the Holy Spirit as “Living Waters” that live inside the believer (John 6:38).

Second, the Holy Spirit is a Person.  The Holy Spirit is not an “it”; he is not an impersonal force; and he is definitely not some mysterious energy.  John refers to the Holy Spirit is a “Him” and a “He.”  In his book about the nature of the Trinity, Charles Swindoll expounds on the personal nature of the Spirit.  The Spirit of God is always referred to in the personal nature of “he” and “him” and is never referred to as an “it” in scripture.[1]  Therefore, the Holy Spirit is not some sheer impersonal force in the universe, nor is He some bizarre power that overturns the laws of nature.  Rather, He is a Person that can be experienced in a relational and dynamic way.

Third, the Holy Spirit is the Encouraging Helper.  John uses the Greek work Paraclete to describe the Holy Spirit. This Greek word has been translated several different ways in modern translations of the Bible.  Some translations render this word to mean Encourager, Comforter, Advocate, Helper Friend, Counselor, and the like.  This word can also be rendered as “one called along beside” to help the believer as a constant companion and guide.  This word carries the connotation of one who “energizes,” “strengthens” and “empowers.”[2]

How does the Holy Spirit Affect My Life Now?

First, the Holy Spirit has a profound impact upon my daily life.  Jesus told his disciples that the Holy Spirit would continue to teach them the truths that they need to learn after his departure.[3]  The Holy Spirit is the ultimate Teacher of truth for the believer since He is the Spirit of Truth who leads the disciple into all truth.  This practical role of the Spirit helps Christ followers to stay on the right course and to guard against falling for the schemes of both Satan and the lost world.

Second, the Holy Spirit’s ministry in my life ultimately leads to freedom in Christ.  Jesus gave this truth to his disciples:

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will  know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”[4]

The Holy Spirit gives freedom to the one who is willing to abide in truth.  In a parallel passage, the Apostle Paul said that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.[5]  Therefore, as one abides in Christ and is lead by the Spirit, he or she grows in one’s faith, bears lasting fruit, and experiences amazing freedom in Christ.[6]

Third, the Holy Spirit produces peace in my life even in the face of doubt and danger.  In John 14, the disciples express both doubt and fear because Jesus has told them that He is leaving them.  In response to their fear, Christ promises to leave his peace with them.[7]  The peace that Christ left with his disciples was the presence of the Holy Spirit.  This should be of immense encouragement for the modern reader of John since so many in today’s world are experiencing great troubles and trials.  Paul also concurs with John when he states that the Fruit that the Spirit produces is love, joy, peace….[8]

Fourth, the Holy Spirit helps produce love in my Christian community.  After introducing the disciples to the subject on the coming Helper in John 14, Jesus tells his disciples to love one another as He had loved them.[9]  How did Jesus love the disciples?  He loved them sacrificially, willing to lay down his life for his friends.[10]  The only possible way for his disciples to truly display this kind of love is through the power of the coming Holy Spirit.  John 15 highlights the need for believers to have true love for one another and this is only possible through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Next, the Holy Spirit empowers me for ministry.  In John 16, Jesus talks about the role of Holy Spirit in regards to a lost world:  The Holy Spirit will convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.[11]  Luke in Acts 1:8 gives the same thought:  That the Holy Spirit is the One who gives the believer the power to be the witness to a lost world.  Thus, the Spirit prepares both the believer and the heart of the unbeliever for the Gospel message.

Sixth, the Holy Spirit gives me victory over sin.  In this fallen world, there is truly a battle going on both inside and outside the believer-a battle of good vs. evil.  Bill Bright has it right:  “External forces-outside and inside us-are constantly fighting to win control over us.  While we walk around in fleshly bodies here, in Satan’s domain, we will never be free from the pressures of these negative forces.”[12]  The good news is that the Holy Spirit is present to help the Christian to overcome the sinful habits and hang-ups that are so pervasive in this fallen world.  Jesus told his disciples to be of good cheer because He had overcome this world.[13]  The Helper, the one who goes along side believers as the Paraclete is the one who gives Christ followers the victory in Christ.[14]

Finally, the Spirit promotes unity among Christians worldwide.  After Jesus taught his disciples about the coming Helper-the Holy Spirit-in John 14-16, He prayed for his disciples to be one as He and the Father were One.[15]  The Holy Spirit is the One who unites all believers across the globe into one body in Christ.[16]  When believers are one, the world gets a beautiful picture of the reality of the living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In summary, the Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force, but He is the personal, relational, and dynamic 3rd Person in the Trinity.  As the Paraclete, the Spirit is the One who encourages, guides, leads, convicts, and teaches believers in their daily lives.  The Spirit brings conviction to a lost world and prepares the hearts of unbelievers to receive the Gospel for salvation.  He empowers the believer for the ministry, and He points him to Christ.  The Holy Spirit as the Living Waters gives the Christian eternal life and constantly refreshes the believer’s soul with the bountiful blessings from throne of Heaven!  Wow…what a powerful Holy Spirit!

Come join us at Relate Church in September/October as we talk about the POWERFUL Holy Spirit!

A Wow Week of Miracle Ministry

God

A WOW Week of Miracle Ministry

This week has truly been a week that has been blessed by the Lord!  Our first 5 months of our preparing for the Harvest with our new church plant has been rewarded indeed!

This week we have had our mouths wide open as we have witnessed a miracle of ministry:  Our worship attendance has doubled overnight and our small groups are growing so fast that we are in need of multiplying our groups!

All is can say is this:  God is faithful and He will make provision for the vision!  Where He guides, He truly provides.

My prayer for this week is this:  God keep the growth coming…but please send us some more leaders!  The Harvest is indeed bountiful but the laborers are needed.

We are DOWN with reaching this TOWN!

Praying for increase this week too!
